Dr.Kaiser and staff

A Patient Focused Practice, Not a Dental Sales Business

Pledge to My Patients:

1.  I promise to hold myself and staff to the highest standards.

2.  I will never place my own self-interest above that of my patient.

3.  I will be fair, honest, and straight forward.

4.  I will measure my success through the eyes of my patients.

Dr. Kaiser is a residency trained, board eligible periodontist.  He is from Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He attended college in his home town, graduating from Southeast Missouri State University.  He received his dental and periodontal specialty training from the University of Missouri, and subsequently moved to Scottsdale in 1978. Dr. Kaiser is married to Shawn, and they have a daughter, Lauren, and two granddaughters Sienna and Nyla.

Dr. Kaiser holds memberships in several professional organizations including The American Academy of Periodontology, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, The Arizona Society of Periodontists, and both the American and Arizona Dental Associations.

Dr. Kaiser began his specialty practice limited to periodontics and surgical implant dentistry in 1978.  He placed his first dental implant in 1978 and has placed several thousand since.  Dr. Kaiser is particularly proud of the fact that while his daily practice, for over 30 years, has included periodontal, dental implant, and dental alveolar surgery he has never had a single complaint filed with the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners.

Dr. Kaiser’s leisure time is based around athletics.  He is a former triathlete with several victories on both the national and state level.  Also, Dr. Kaiser was a competitive cyclist winning both state and national age group championships.  He continues to train daily, and has begun to focus on Olympic-style weight lifting.

My Staff

Claudia Goad

I have been working for Dr. Kaiser since 1984. After graduating from a dental assisting program in Conneticut I moved to Arizona, making it my home. I started as Dr. Kaiser's surgical assistant and then transferred to the front desk as his receptionist in 1990. Having the knowledge of working chairside has allowed me to answer patients questions more readily. I continue to enjoy the interaction with patients and feel so fortunate to be a part of a great team of committed dental professionals. My interests are cooking, hiking, and classical arts. I am married and have one son.

JeriJo (JJ) Brittner

Prior to moving to Arizona in July of 2006 I lived and worked in Washington State. Starting in dentistry in 1980, I have 6 years of general and 22 years of periodontal assisting experience. I was fortunate in January of 2007 to begin working for Dr. Kaiser. His excellent skills and chair side manner make for a comfortable environment for both patients and staff. When I am not at work I enjoy cooking, parenting, and spending time with my family and friends.

LaWanda Wiles

After relocating to Scottsdale in 2007, I am very happy to be working with Dr. Kaiser and his staff since April 2008. I have worked in dental and medical front offices in varying roles for the past twenty-five years. It is not often you find an environment that is both comfortable and professional and Dr. Kaiser provides that type of environment. I feel as though I have finally found my home away from home. When I am not at work, I enjoy reading and watching my children play sports.

I have worked in Periodontics for 15 years now. I am currently working for Gerald Kaiser and I am extremely dedicated to his practice. I have also taught at the Dental Hygiene Clinic at Phoenix College and Still University in Chandler. It was a joy to share my knowledge with young students. I am married to a Family Physician, Frank Cibulka. We have three children named Sarah, Sammy, and Quentin. Sarah is 18 and attends University of Arizona. Sammy is 9 and Quentin is 6. They both attend St. Thomas the Apostle. To manage my stress I enjoy swimming, biking, and running. I have completed many marathons and my latest achievement was completing Ironman Arizona Triathlon in April 2008. My family, work, and races keep me very busy but I would not have it any other way!

Susan Rehm RDH

I am originally from Clearfield, a small town in Western Pennsylvania. I studied Dental Hygiene at Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduation I was looking for an adventure and moved West. I have made Phoenix my home and enjoy Arizona's sunny lifestyle. I love the outdoors - hiking, water sports, snowsking, etc.. Through my career I have always been a member of the America's Dental Hygiene Assoication. In previous years I served as president to our local group, Central Arizona Dental Hygiene Society. Always looking for ways to provide my patients with quality care, in 1981 I completed the expanded functions program at Phoenix College. This course allowed me to perfect my skills in scaling and root planning to achieve good results with initial periodontal therapy. In 1994 I joined the staff of Dr. Kaiser. Our staff works as a team and we enjoy a unique comaraderie not found in too many places. The goal is "you" the patient. We want to address your concerns and find solutions that will work for you.
